After years of Hotel California is still a classic. The words and chords is much sought after item by young and old guitar player. There are many versions of Hotel California, including parody, and I suggest you listen to them all. To move and make the Hotel California or another song by yourself, you need to get over it. Get out of your system. Listening to the various versions will help with this as will intense practice.
