Pisang Ambon

Our hotel, Ariadne, located just outside Retymnon in an area called Palatanes. What a wonderful place for if not for the fact that we have arrived at one of the two rainiest week in October. We have planned a bus trip to a monastery nearby which was canceled due to bad weather
But husband and wife own in Crete can still be fun. We played quite a bit of cards, and cognac Greece - Metaxa - Ouzo good and while my wife enjoyed the majority of Ambon Banana with banana juice.
But our beautiful walk. We saw quite a bit of local tavernas and a wonderful joy to our favorite lunch - tuna salad with lots of fresh vegetables. Already on the second day they remembered that both my wife and I are not all that happy with the olives. So they serve tuna salad without olives on five other days. One day we spent in the center Retymnon cause them to lose us.
It is one thing you should know about Greece. They are very loving people, and when you behave politely and show your appreciation for them, they will do anything for you. This is one of the few places where you feel welcome immediately.
A traditional Danish dishes, which taste even better when it's raining cats and dogs, baked apples as a garnish for meat. It feels much better with the Greek apples, and you really owe it to yourself to experience Greek food. Toast them with true love, and you can really feel the atmosphere completely different from other tourist destinations we have visited.
My wife was celebrating her birthday while we were gone, and it's fun to enjoy today under a different arrangement from Scandinavia are usually rather cold weather. On our way back from dinner, we had a funny experience with ice cream. Here, they mostly served in cones or small cups. Down there, they have to box - and we tried all sorts of flavors we can not even get here. A sense of real fruit - not just some artificial flavors...
So, even when the weather is bad, you can have great fun when you take things in a good mood. Many have been disappointed by the weather. We still talk love a holiday so we can ensure you can enjoy your vacation too when you visit the island of Crete. We plan to try again in a few years of their island. We will bring our kids next time, and we will probably visit the island in June or July. But you owe it to yourself to test the island. This is a beautiful person with an amazing view with small mountains all over the place.
